However, there are many things you can do to survive allergy season and minimize your symptoms. Below are valuable tips to help you quickly manage your allergies and get through allergy season.
1.Identify your triggers:
The first step in managing your allergies is to identify your triggers. This may require visiting an allergist who can help you determine what is causing your allergies. Once you know what triggers your allergies, you can take steps to avoid those allergens.
2.Stay indoors On high pollen days:
Try to stay indoors as much as possible. Keep all your windows and doors closed to prevent pollen from entering your home. Also, use air conditioning to keep the air inside your house cool and dry.
3.Use a HEPA filter
Consider using a HEPA filter in your home. HEPA filters can capture tiny particles like pollen, dust, and pet dander, helping to improve the air quality inside your home.
4.Keep your home clean.
Regularly clean your home to reduce the number of allergens present. Vacuum your carpets and rugs frequently, and wash your sheets and blankets in hot water at least once a week. Dust your furniture and surfaces regularly, and use a damp cloth to capture dust particles.
