TikTok - Talks about the end of the world
Predicted Massive Solar Storm on April 23rd, 2023
People on TikTok say this could happen in the next few days, on April 23, 2023. They're talking about the end of the world, and this Theory has gone viral on TikTok
There have always been theories of the end of mankind floating around since the beginning of modern civilization, I suspect. But according to TikTok, it might happen on April 23, 2023. Scientists are predicting a massive solar storm from our Sun on that day.
Solar Storms can wreak havoc on communications and electrical grids. But is a Solar Storm cause for alarm about the world's end? Well, there is a science to back up that Theory.
There have been many predictions on the end of days and the theories behind why and how it could happen. Nostradamus and many others have predicted the end of mankind. Even the Bible predicts Armageddon and the end of mankind as we know it.

Individuals on TikTok are theorizing that the apocalypse will happen this Sunday, April 23, 2023.
The Theory about this "end of the world" scenario is that on April 23, The Sun will unleash a massive Solar Storm, causing Earth to receive massive amounts of High Altitude Static Discharge, AKA Aroura Borealis. With the potential to destroy our power grid, that would take years to rebuild, and by then, our world would be in chaos.
At the time, though, this Theory is just internet forum banter. However, there have been Solar Storms that have happened before, massive Coronal mass ejections that, if they had happened in today's age, would have been nothing short of a catastrophe.
The Carrington Event ( Named after astronomer Richard Carrington ) was one of the strongest magnetic storms ever hitting Earth; It occurred on September 1, 1859, during our Sun's 10-year cycle of heavy Solar flare activity. Creating some of the brightest Aroura Borealis to ever be recorded globally. A magnetic storm of this size today would cause a global power grid failure and blackout in most countries.
Coronal ejections from our Sun can be seen from Nasa satellites and are in the ultraviolet light spectrum. Stong Solar Winds blast out into space in low solar activity periods, and the solar winds can push them straight to Earth.
While this is only a potential threat, and I'm sure the world won't be ending anytime soon, there are risks involved with these events.
However, Solar flares are random events that can not be predicted on any given day or time. So not even our top scientists can say when or how things might end. It is a concerning thought, though, that we have pushed the doomsday clock to 90 seconds to Midnight set on January 24, 2023.
